"Of all God's creatures, there is only one that cannot be made slave of the leash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve the man, but it would deteriorate the cat." - Mark Twain

Little Monday was found sitting on the side of the road, we thought it to be peculiar that she didn't run as a car was coming by, so we backed up and investigated further.
As we pulled up to her she remained in the same spot, and was alert, so we carefully gave her a little nudge to see if this would send her on her way.  Well, it didn't, so out came the carrier, and with a little help she was contained and we were off to evaluate her further.

Upon evaluation we found "Monday" to be very sweet, but she was obviously in some sort of distress, wasting no time we were off to the vets. Upon examination, an extremely friendly, purring Monday was diagnosed with being in labor. So, home we went to set up a spot for her to give birth. Shortly after arriving at the sanctuary, Monday had a seizure. Back to the doctor again. For fear of hurting the babies, and not having enough information, Monday was to be observed overnight.

Throughout the night she had more seizures and produced no babies. As morning approached and her conditioned became critical, Monday was to have a cesarean section/spay and she needed extensive testing to find the source of her seizures. She was put on medication and slowly stopped having seizures. With her seizures under control the doctors could now focus on her pregnancy.

After all Monday endured, we are sad to say her little ones did not survive. Now a new hurdle presented itself, it seemed Monday was hit by a car, damage to her leg left her unable to walk normally and she would lay down in discomfort after barely a minute of walking. With physical therapy and lots of love this little girl is becoming a playful, normal kitty. She will always have a slight limp but she is seizure free to date and quite the goofball.
